On Saturday, March 28, the Holy Cross women"s lacrosse team will host a "Think Pink Game" at Holy Cross Field against Patriot League opponent No. 16 Loyola (Md.) at 12:05 p.m. The team will be wearing pink headbands and shoelaces during the game to show its support of breast cancer awareness. The women's lacrosse program encourages all attendees to wear pink.
HC For A Cure will also be selling t-shirts throughout the game and collecting donations to benefit PINK Revolution. PINK Revolution is an alliance of dedicated individuals with a unified commitment to those touched by breast cancer. Its mission is to support early detection and prevention strategies, fund clinical research advancements and promote survivorship programs in Central Mass. through its affiliation with the UMass Memorial Comprehensive Breast Center.
