Video: Alumni Couples Share Their Tales of Love

Video by Tom Rettig

After they cross the commencement stage, Holy Cross students leave campus with an academic degree that will serve them well in whatever the future holds.

Some leave with something extra: their soul mates.

An estimated 10 percent of Holy Cross alumni are married to each other. During Winter Homecoming — which coincidentally took place on Valentine's Day — five alumni couples from different generations sat down to talk about their romances that started on Mount St. James.

The alumni couples — who you'll notice still look love struck — are Cheryl Canedo '84, P16 and Robert Canedo '85, P16; Robert Daly, M.D., '74, P16, 08 and Margaret Dubois Daly '76, P16, 08; Michael Fedigan '03 and Meagan Fedigan '03; Christopher Loeber, Esq., '91 P18 and Laura Phillips Loeber '91 P18; and Michael Villa '91 and Lisa Villa '90.

If you found love during your time at Holy Cross, we'd love to hear about it. Share how you met your spouse in the comments section below.
