On April 17, accepted students of the class of 2020 visited Mount St. James to explore the campus and learn more about the many academic, spiritual, social and athletic opportunities that Holy Cross has to offer.

The perfect spring day served as the backdrop for Open House as accepted students and their families participated in a variety of sessions that highlighted individual components of the Holy Cross experience. Visitors learned about the College’s distinctive first-year living and learning program, Montserrat. Representatives from several student clubs and organizations and coaches from various athletic teams gathered to answer questions and discuss campus life. Financial aid workshops, student and parent panels, and special interest sessions were among the other offerings. Faculty, administrators, College chaplains and students provided overviews, and shared their perspectives and experiences with the accepted students and their families..

Throughout the afternoon accepted students participated in academic department open houses, meeting with faculty from across the College in informal settings to discuss academic opportunities, talking with student about their experiences with different majors, and touring the facilities. Brief presentations by faculty from different academic areas allowed students to further explore the renowned Holy Cross educational experience.
