Holy Cross Alumna Connects Students to Art Through Theatre for Over 30 Years

In a recent article by The Press & Sun-Bulletin, Anne M. Brady ’78 talks about her love of teaching and facilitating the creative process in her students through theatre. Brady, a psychology major and theatre minor at Holy Cross, has worked in theatre for the past 30 years. Seventeen of those years have been spent as the head of acting and directing at Binghamton University, located in Binghamton, N.Y., where she also teaches voice, movement, and acting.

According to the article, Brady believes in the transformational power of the arts. “Art allows people to express themselves and get in touch with things not always encouraged or allowed in day to day interactions,” she said.
