We at Holy Cross offer our deepest condolences to those affected by yesterday’s horrific attack in Orlando. Holy Cross has strong ties to the Orlando and LGBTQ communities. On behalf of our entire community, I extend our prayers and sympathy to those whose family, friends and community members lost their lives or loved ones in this tragic event.
We pray that in reflecting on this tragedy, our nation and the world may find the strength and wisdom to prevent acts of violence such as this from happening again.
Our campus community will be holding a prayer service tomorrow, June 14, 2016 at 12:45 p.m. for the victims, their families and all those affected by this tragic event.
