Holy Cross Athletics Director Throws First Pitch at Yankee Stadium

On Monday, Holy Cross athletics director Nate Pine threw out the first pitch at Yankee Stadium prior to that evening’s baseball game. The visit to New York and Pine’s pitch – a high fastball to Yankee infielder Ronald Torreyes – drummed up excitement for the Ram-Crusader Cup football game, which will be held at Yankee Stadium this November.

“It was very exciting to throw out the first pitch,” said Pine. “But the important thing is that this kicks off the joint promotion we are going to be doing with the Yankees and Fordham, and it will build enthusiasm and excitement as we head into the football season.”
