Holy Cross Alumnus Awash With Nostalgia Writes About His 25th Reunion for the National Review

There's no better way to celebrate being a Crusader than by returning to Mount St. James for Reunion Weekend, where generations of Holy Cross alumni come together for fellowship and friendship at a place that will always feel like home.

Particularly inspired by his 25th reunion experience in early June, Dan McLaughlin '93 wrote a commentary for National Review on the impact of those three event-filled days spent with the members of the Classes of '93, '98, '03, '08 and '13.

"The most powerful thing is neither the place nor the time but the sense of community and belonging that beckons, always over our shoulders, almost always just out of reach. The ability to wrap your hands around that again even for a few days is a precious thing," writes McLaughlin.

McLaughlin, a history major at the College, is an attorney practicing securities and commercial litigation in New York City.
