WORCESTER, Mass. – Ward Thomas, associate professor of political science at the College of the Holy Cross, is an expert in international security and terrorism. He is available to comment on issues related to terrorist activity in Yemen. Specifically, he can address anti-terrorism strategy and foreign policy implications for other areas of the world, including Afghanistan and Pakistan.
Thomas is the author of The Ethics of Destruction: Norms and Force in International Relations (Cornell University Press, 2001), and his articles have appeared in International Security, Security Studies, Armed Forces & Society, Sciences Humaines (Paris), and The Boston Globe, among other publications.
His teaching and research interests include international security and strategic studies, international relations theory, U.S. foreign policy, international institutions, and ethics and international relations.
