One of the greatest basketball players of all time, Michael Jordan may have been considered a tough competitor on the court, but as owner of the Charlotte Bobcats dealing with NBA contact negotiations, he"s been described as ruthless. Victor Matheson, associate professor of economics at the College of the Holy Cross, talked with Marketplace Morning Report about Jordan's history cutting good deals—for himself.

"Michael Jordan always wanted to win at everything, no matter what side of the debate he's on," he said." As of last year, he was actually still the highest paid basketball player in the world, despite having not played in almost 15 years."
