Paul E. Peterson to Speak at Holy Cross

WORCESTER, Mass. – On Thursday, October 24 at 7:30 p.m. in the Rehm Library Paul E. Peterson will give a lecture titled "What do we know about school vouchers?" The lecture is free and open to the public.

Paul E. Peterson is the Henry Lee Shattuck Professor of Government and director of the Program on Education Policy and Governance at Harvard University. He also serves as Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford and as editor-in-chief of Education Next, a journal of opinion and research on education policy.

A prominent figure in American education, Peterson has written and edited numerous articles and twenty-two books including The Education Gap: Vouchers and Urban Schools and Charters, Vouchers, and Public Education. Three of his books have received major awards from the American Political Science Association.
