Organist John Grew to Perform at Holy Cross

WORCESTER, Mass. – John Grew will perform an organ concert titled "Splendors of the French and German Baroque," on Sunday, October 19, at 3 p.m. in St. Joseph Memorial Chapel at the College of the Holy Cross. Part of the Holy Cross Chapel Artists Series, the concert is free and open to the public.

John Grew is a professor of organ and church music, and director of the International Summer Organ Academy, at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. He is a former First Prize winner of the prestigious Geneva International Organ Competition and a former student of Marie-Claire Alain in Paris, France. Grew has performed concerts around the world. His extensive recordings include an award-winning CD of the complete organ works of the French baroque composer, Nicolas de Grigny. Grew is in demand for international organ competition juries around the world.
