A member of the Class of 2010 chronicles life on the Hill

First-Year Diary

A new chapter begins with the first year of college.  In addition to the excitement and challenges of academic life, students are now part of a new community.  Juggling responsibilities, meeting people from across the country and around the world, exploring co-curricular activities, discovering ways to enrich classroom learning… it’s all part of the college experience.  It’s an exciting time, filled with opportunities to pursue new interests and prepare for the future.

But don’t take our word for it.

Rebecca Donahue ‘10, a Falmouth, Mass. native, will chronicle her first year at Holy Cross in this year’s First-Year Diary, a blog of daily life on the Hill.

An English major and member of the First-Year Program, Rebecca’s passion for writing extends to short stories, poetry, journalism – she’s even working on a first novel.  A voracious reader, she relaxes by drawing, going to the gym, and catching her favorite television shows (especially Gilmore Girls!)
