Holy Cross to Host Energy Saving Lighting Fair

In an effort to help employees, students, and neighbors of the College save money and energy at home, as well as helping to protect our planet’s environment, the College of the Holy Cross will host a special Energy Saving Lighting Fair on March 20 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Hogan 3rd Floor Lobby. A variety of high quality energy-efficient lighting products will be available at deep discounts from an Energy Star certified vendor. The event is sponsored the Presidential Task Force on the Environment at Holy Cross.

The lighting fair is part of the Mass Save Program, and is sponsored by National Grid. Lighting fairs offer education about the features and benefits of Energy Star lighting, as well as great prices on energy saving products that help lower the cost of ratepayers' energy bills, and reduce the nation's carbon footprint. The Mass Save Program, which all residents contribute to through their energy bills, enables the vendor to offer these products at special prices to you to purchase and use at home.

See the PDF below for the Lighting Fair product flyer featuring the items and prices available at the event. The “Mass Saver Combo Special,” which includes 12 CFLs, two desk lamps (bulbs included) and two LED sensor night lights, will be sold for $10. The regular retail price is $100.

Methods of payment will be cash or check only (no credit cards); sales tax will be applicable..
