Holy Cross Baseball to Host Bucknell in Patriot League Semifinals

Series will take place on Saturday and Sunday, May 11-12

Update (May 11, 2013 9:10 p.m.): Holy Cross baseball advances to the Patriot League tournament championship series with their 9-6 and 3-0 victories over Bucknell this afternoon. The No. 1 seeded Crusaders will face No. 3 Army on May 18-19 for the best-of-three championship series.  All three contests will be played at Fitton Field. Read more »

The No. 1 seeded Holy Cross baseball team will host No. 4 Bucknell in the Patriot League Tournament semifinals during the weekend of Saturday and Sunday, May 11-12.

The semifinals will be a best-of-three series with a doubleheader on Saturday, May 11 and if necessary, a game on Sunday, May 12. The twinbill on Saturday will start at 1 p.m. with game two beginning 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one. Game three will begin at 1 p.m. on Sunday. All three contests will be played at Fitton Field.

All of the games can be viewed on Patriot League All-Access, which is a subscription based service through the Patriot League. Also, the semifinals can be heard for free on Stretch Internet Radio.

Admission is free for all three contests during the semifinal series. On Saturday, Holy Cross will be selling $1 hot dogs for those in attendance.
