Joyce ’82 Discusses Corporate Strategy at Worcester Economics Club Meeting

As president and CEO of Danaher Corp, Thomas P. Joyce Jr. ’82, is no stranger to “helping people realize their potential,” according to a recent article by the Telegram & Gazette. Joyce, who majored in economics while at the College, was a guest speaker at the Worcester Economics Club 546th meeting, where he discussed how he strengthened the strategy of the science and technology company after earning the top post in 2014.

Joyce, who is currently a member of the board of trustees for the College, is the son of Thomas P. Joyce ’59, after whom the newly constructed contemplative center in West Boylston is named. The Thomas P. Joyce ’59 Contemplative Center is the new home of Holy Cross’ many retreat programs.
