New England Cable News/Worcester News Tonight

Matt Celin ’11 and J.P. Martignetti ‘11, both members of the men’s ice hockey team, donned pink T-shirts and laces to promote the second annual “Pink the Rink” fundraiser event on Worcester News Tonight.

In its second year, “Pink the Rink,” raises money for breast cancer research.  This year, players laced up their skates in pink and used pink tape on their sticks, while fans participated in raffles, chuck-a-puck contests and purchased special pink T-shirts, all for a great cause.

Money raised during the game on Feb. 5 will benefit Pink Revolution, a local charity that assists women suffering from breast cancer at UMass Memorial Hospital.
