According to a new survey of colleges that provide the best financial aid packages for their students, the College of the Holy Cross is one of the most generous in the country. The report by CBS’s Moneywatch, was based on data gathered by U.S. News & World Report.
Of the 1,700 colleges and universities surveyed, U.S. News found that only 63 claim to meet their students full financial need, including Holy Cross. According to Moneywatch, there are few colleges that “can make that promise because it requires a huge student financial aid commitment.”
