Visitors to the College website will notice some changes in the way stories about Holy Cross people, programs, and events on campus are presented on the website.
The new "Holy Cross Newsroom" is designed to make it easier for website visitors to read stories about the College. In addition to a single location where news, stories, media mentions, videos, photo galleries, blogs, and other multimedia features are collected and displayed in a more prominent format, news content is better showcased throughout the site. Clicking on an individual story from the home page (or elsewhere) will take you to the Newsroom — where not only can you read a selected story, but also explore other features and news.
The new navigation will keep older stories from being "hidden," encourage browsing, and generally reveal examples of the dynamic news and interesting news taking place all over campus.
These changes are the result of what the Office of Public Affairs learned from research and campus conversations over the past year. The primary recommendation from this work was to find ways to enhance and better promote the news and dynamic stories taking place every day on and off campus.
