BEYOND THE CLASSROOM Research assistant in the laboratory of Ann Sheehy, associate professor of biology, where she studied the antiviral function of the anti-HIV protein APOBEC3G. In addition, teaching assistant for Introductory Biology Laboratories; co-chair and tutor for Bio Buddies (peer tutoring for biology); biology tutor and psychology tutor through Academic Services and Learning Resources; co-chair of Biology Student Advisory Committee; tour guide and tour guide coordinator for Admissions; Campus Ministry; resident counselor for the Odyssey Program; coxswain for the women’s rowing team (2010-2012).

UP NEXT Attending Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine to pursue a Ph.D. in biochemistry, cellular, and molecular biology.
