Students on campus are celebrating the annual Purple Pride Day on Friday, April 17. Members of the Purple Key Society decorated the campus in the early hours of the day, and are sponsoring events throughout the day to promote school spirit, including giveaways on the Hogan Courtyard.

In honor of Purple Pride Day day, the Bookstore is offering a 20 percent discount on all purple apparel in the store. The celebration will cap off with live music on the Hogan Courtyard and food trucks serving frozen hoagies, pizza, and kettle corn.

To promote the event, the Purple Key Society put together a video featuring Tyson Youngs ’17 visiting popular spots on campus. Locations include the newly-renovated Kimball Dining Hall, Cool Beans 2 in Stein Hall, Dinand Library, the Hart Center, and more. Watch the video above to inspire your own purple pride, whether you’re celebrating on Mount St. James or across the world.
