Holy Cross Supports Men's Basketball During Historic NCAA Tournament Run

Fresh off their first NCAA Tournament victory since 1953 and five consecutive wins on the road, the Holy Cross men’s basketball team was defeated by top-seeded Oregon. The Crusaders earned an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament after becoming the first No. 9 seed to win the Patriot League Championship.  They continued their streak of road wins to defeat Southern University in their first game in the NCAA Tournament.

From Worcester to Boston, New York to Chicago, alumni, family and friends cheered on the Crusaders at more than 15 official watch parties. On campus, 350 students packed into an overflowing Crossroads to root for their Crusaders on the road.

Support poured in over social media, showcasing the community’s unwavering purple pride.
