NAME Spencer Caron ’20

HOMETOWN Belchertown, Mass.

AREAS OF STUDY Philosophy major

WHY HE CHOSE HOLY CROSS “I chose Holy Cross because it offered everything that I was looking for. The small size, proximity to Boston, strong alumni network and dedication to the liberal arts are among the most important deciding factors.”

ACTIVITIES College Honors program, Charles A. Dana Scholar, Washington Semester Program (spring 2019), Moot Court, treasurer of the class of 2020, admissions outreach program

WHAT HE’S MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO “At Holy Cross, becoming meaningfully involved is integral to the overall experience, I am most looking forward to pursuing my extracurriculars for three more years. Specifically, I look forward to serving my class through my role as treasurer and honing my skills in Moot Court."

WHY HE’S BLOGGING “I am blogging for three reasons. First, a blog caught my attention and connected me with a current Holy Cross student when I was a prospective student. Second, I love to write and if writing this blog helps prospective students, then it will be that much more rewarding. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, I have loved my time at Holy Cross thus far and hope that my blog may play a modest role in opening prospective students’ eyes as to why they would love Holy Cross as well.”
