Photo Gallery: Class of 2021 Gets Taste of College at Summer Gateways

The Holy Cross campus was abuzz this June as members of the Class of 2021 and their parents attended Summer Gateways, the College’s summer orientation program, where they became better acquainted with all things Holy Cross.

As students learned about life on Mount St. James from current students, faculty, and administrators, and got to meet their fellow classmates, their excitement was palpable.

“The hopes and dreams the students bring are fascinating,” says Francisco Gago-Jover, who will serve as the dean of the Class of 2021 for all four years of their time at Holy Cross. “Their energy and excitement is contagious. The opportunities they will have at Holy Cross are incredible.”

The one-and-a-half day orientation, offered in three separate sessions, aimed to help students make a successful transition into Holy Cross through information sessions and discussions on academics, spiritual and social life at the College.

Come August, students will continue where the summer orientation program left off with Fall Gateways, a four-day program that extends from move-in day to the first day of classes, with a greater emphasis on the residential aspect of their college experience.
