Holy Cross Earns High Marks in Washington Monthly Rankings

College was ranked No. 13 in "Best Bang for the Buck in Northeast" and No. 23 in "Liberal Arts" lists

The College of the Holy Cross has been recognized among the top colleges in the nation by Washington Monthly magazine in its September/October issue, having been ranked No. 23 among top liberal arts colleges in the country and No. 13 for "Best Bang for the Buck in Northeast."

Now in its 13th year, this annual College Guide and Rankings recognizes "not what colleges do for themselves, but on what they do for the country," ranking four-year schools based on three criteria – social mobility (recruiting and graduating low-income students), research (producing cutting-edge scholarship and PhDs) and service (encouraging students to give something back). For this year's rankings, Washington Monthly considered more than 1,700 U.S. colleges and universities.
