NAME  Mitchell Baker '22

HOMETOWN Upton, Mass.

STUDIES HE’S CONSIDERING Political science and philosophy double major, Middle Eastern Studies or Peace and Conflict Studies concentration

ACTIVITIES Mock Trial, Moot Court

WHY HE CHOSE HOLY CROSS "I chose Holy Cross because I immediately felt a connection to the school the moment I stepped on campus. This led me to research the school more, where I discovered that their academic programs suited me well and would prepare me for the career that I want in the future."

WHAT HE’S MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO "I’m looking forward to the countless opportunities that Holy Cross offers me such as extracurriculars like Moot Court and Mock Trial, Maymester trips, a variety of internships in the political and public policy realm, volunteer service in the local community, and study abroad programs."

WHY HE’S BLOGGING "I decided to pursue blogging because when I was an anxious high schooler trying to research colleges on my own I found that student blogs, especially Holy Cross’ student blogs, were incredibly helpful as they gave me insight into how college life really is. If I can just help one prospective student gain some insight into college life, especially life at Holy Cross, that would be amazing as I would be paying it forward."
