To the perennial question “How did you spend your summer vacation?” the answer for over 200 Holy Cross students was learning more about future careers and gaining out-of-the-classroom experience through summer internships.

Students in a range of majors spent their summers exploring careers in a variety of fields, including finance, fashion, media, insurance, non-profit, healthcare, law, government, public relations, advertising, publishing, marketing, production, real estate, environment and wildlife, arts administration, education and technology.

Before summer began, the Center for Career Development helped the students write resumes and cover letters, practice interviews and find the perfect internship. Plus, out of the internship pool, 103 students received funding through the Crusader Internship Fund, which supports students in unpaid internships.

Watch how three students — Julia, Zain and Julianna — used their summer internships to pursue their passions and develop career-related skills outside the classroom.
