The College of the Holy Cross ranks No. 5 on Money Magazine’s list of "10 Best Liberal Arts Colleges" for 2022.

According to Money Magazine, a subsidiary of TIME Inc., the list was compiled to help prospective students interested in the humanities find a college where they can explore the arts and humanities while getting a high-value education. The schools were ranked based on Money's annual Best Colleges rankings, which measures colleges by their affordability, quality and career outcomes.

In its assessment, Money Magazine highlighted Holy Cross' beautiful campus, its commitment to meeting 100% of demonstrated financial need for accepted students, as well as the "impressive" salaries of recent grads and "active and engaged" alumni network.

In the College’s profile, the magazine also noted Holy Cross' "outstanding" classics department. "The department hosts study abroad programs in Athens and Rome, and while students are stateside, they can participate in the college’s Manuscripts, Inscriptions and Documents (MID) Club, where members work on a variety of texts from the ancient world. Each year, the college hosts Classics Day, when hundreds of high schoolers come to the New England campus to learn about Roman culture."

Additionally, Holy Cross was ranked No. 32 overall on the publication's list of "Best Colleges in America, Ranked by Value" which consisted of more than 600 private and public institutions analyzed for this year's rankings.
