Holy Cross to Host Panel on Current Financial Crisis

WORCESTER, Mass. – The Prebusiness Program at the College of the Holy Cross will host a panel discussion on the current financial crisis titled, “A New Financial World Order?” on Thursday, Nov. 6 from 7-9 p.m. in Stein Hall room 116. The event is free and open to the public.

The panel will discuss main causes of the recent financial upheaval, its impact on the U.S. and international markets, and whether a new financial order will emerge. The panelists represent a range within the College’s community, and include Miles Cahill, associate professor of economics; Loren Cass, associate professor of political science; David Chu, associate professor of accounting and director of entrepreneurial studies; Michael Lochhead, vice president for administration and finance, Lee Oser, associate professor of English; and B. Jeffrey Reno, associate professor of political science.
